Brad Roemer Discusses The Best National Parks In Canada

Introduction

While Brad Roemer lives in the United States and has access to many National Park, he is well aware that his neighbors to the north have some pretty stunning views as well. So, in this article, he is going to be sharing with us the best National Parks that he has seen in Canada. Unlike the United States, Parks Canada offers a Discovery Pass that will give you access to over one hundred National Parks. This can be used for an entire year for the low price of $136 CAD. This pass will grant you and your family unlimited access to all the National Parks in Canada (as we said, there are over one hundred of them). As a reminder, on Canada Day all the parks have free admission. So, if you happen to be in Canada Day on July 1st make sure you take time to see what one of these parks has to offer.

Oh Canada

No, we are not going to break out in song, but we did want to express how grateful we are that our northern neighbors have some very majestic views worth taking the trip. So, out of the over one hundred National Parks, we are going to narrow it down to just a few that we think will leave you stunned and amazed.

  1. Gros Morne National Park – Situated in Rocky Harbour, Newfoundland and Labrador, this majestic park is exactly what you would expect of an East Coast National Park. It has high cliff walls, that will just leave you shocked. You will feel like you just stepped out of a Lord of the Rings movie when you look at the gorgeous panoramic views that it has to offer. While you are there, you can participate in some local activities such as cross-country skiing or kayaking.
  2. Banff National Park – This was Canada’s first National Park, and upon viewing it you will no longer wonder why. Touted as being the destination to see for millions of people annually, you will stand in amazement to look at the blue-green hued landscape and high shooting mountains. Being part of the Rockies mountain range, you will be able to see just how similar Americans and Canadians really are when you take a hike on both sides of the border.
  3. Prince Edward Island National Park – Obviously this is geographically located on Prince Edward Island. It is said to be the inspiration of Anne of Green Gables. Touting more than 50 km of hiking trails and the most stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean that you will ever see. Make sure you take in the abundance of lighthouses that pepper the coast of this island. If you were looking for Canada’s answer to the Hamptons, then you found the place. Quite majestic and worth every penny you pay to stay in this luxury National Park.

Conclusion

Getting out and being one with nature has been something that Brad Roemer has done for a great many years. Being able to do this in a foreign land is more than he could ever ask for. If you ever find yourself in Canada, make sure to stop by an Information stand and ask where the local National Park is. You will not be disappointed.
